Workshop on Crime Scene Photography

A ‘Crime Scene Photography Workshop’ organized by Police Reform Programme, Phase-II was held from 10 – 12 August 2010 at the BIAM Foundation, Dhaka. The workshop was attended by ten participants from CID Forensic Laboratory, Dhaka. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance the capacity of Crime Scene Photographers of CID Forensic Lab. Mr. Moslem Ali, PPM, Investigations & Operations Expert from PRP facilitated the workshop.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Sailful Alam, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID and closed by Mr. Nazmul Haque, PPM, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID as the Chief Guests. Mr. Neale Fursdon, Investigations & Operations Specialist, PRP was present at the occasion and gave a very interesting talk to the participants.

The workshop involved topics regarding Crime Scene Photography. Rigorous discussions and brainstorming sessions encouraged active participation by attendees and their experience as Crime Scene Photographer made the workshop a great success. It is hoped that PRP will continue this type of workshop in future.
